At New Mersey, we aim to maximise the positive impact we have on how people feel. We focus on our three main stakeholder groups: customers, retailers and employees. At New Mersey we often host, and take part in, activities that will further achieve our overall objective: health, mind, space and place.
In December of 2015, New Mersey was awarded with ‘The Workplace Wellbeing Charter’, which is recognised as a national award in England. It is judged on various on-site categories, including leadership, mental health and healthy eating awareness.
In the Centre Management office there is a wellbeing information board, offering advice and guidance on healthy lifestyle options, as well as upcoming sporting events. The centre currently offers healthy breakfasts to all employees, and soon we hope to arrange gym memberships and boot camp classes.
Here at New Mersey, we believe in investing in the happiness and wellbeing of our employees, ensuring they are receive the full support they need. Because of this, our leadership was rated as being excellent, putting us in the top 5% of all businesses in the Liverpool area.
